Terms and Conditions
By accepting this agreement and paying a deposit, you agree to be subject to these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse the sale of goods or services or to cancel an order under certain circumstances.
Please be aware that all photographs taken of your orders prior to delivery remain property of Baking Memories with Matilda.

Payment Information
Payment is due in full for all cookies, grazing box & cupcake orders.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm all cake bookings. The quoted website price includes cake, filling and basic buttercream/ganache decorating. Any special flavour requests, additional toppers, decorations and flowers are an additional cost quoted on enquiry.
The balance of payment is due 7 days prior to scheduled pick-up/delivery. Orders will not be completed or delivered unless paid in full.
 
Cancellations/Change of date
-        All cancellations/changes must be received in writing.
-        If order is cancelled within 7 days of your event, a 50% cancellation fee (deposit) is payable.
-        If the date of your event is changed no additional fee will be applied providing a minimum of 7 days notice has been given.
-        However, if Baking Memories with Matilda have to cancel the order with you for any particular reason due to health, family or situations out of our control, a full refund will be provided to you.
 
Cake & Cupcake Care & Advice

  • Store cakes and cupcakes in a cool area away from direct sun-light.
  • Cakes are best served at room temperature. The cake should be refrigerated but taken out 1-2 hours prior to serving.
  • If your cake/cupcakes contain ganache, cream or cream cheese they need to be refrigerated until serving.
  • Multi-tier cakes may contain supports, please take care to remove when cutting and serving your cake.
  • Although every effort is made to keep our cake textures and qualities consistent occasionally they may vary to a small degree depending on the regional qualities of ingredients used.
  • Cakes should be transported in their box, carried from the bottom only and flat on the floor whilst in a vehicle not in someone’s lap. Please note that we do NOT take responsibility for the cake once it has left our premises.

Grazing Box Care & Advice

  • Grazing boxes should be consumed within 2 days provided they are stored in the fridge

 

Cookies Care & Advice

  • Cookies are made fresh to order and heat sealed for maximum shelf life. Cookies will remain fresh for two weeks. Cookies should be stored out of direct sunlight. 

  • If you are not consuming cookies within 2 weeks, we recommend popping them into the freezer when your order arrives, after which you can enjoy them for up to 1 month.

 
Variations to pictured examples
Please note if an image is supplied for reference,  in some cases it may be necessary to change a colour or vary a product from the picture as certain items may be unavailable. 
Where items are provided on cakes (plastic figures, toys or handmade sugared items) they are strictly provided as decorations on a cake, and it is advised that these are not consumed. Some figurines and decorations may contain wire or toothpicks which are dangerous if consumed.
 
Damaged Cakes

After your order has been picked-up or delivered, we take no responsibility for any damage that occurs to any part of the cake, dessert or grazing box while it is in your care, including if it is as a result of incorrect storage or transportation. Suitable storage measures for your items can be found above.
